Sri Somayaji hails from Vedic scholars’ family. He has been contributing several articles on Hindu philosophy to various magazines for the past 25 years. Till now he has contributed 300 articles and received great readership. Sri Somayaji is well versed in Upanishads, Vedas, Smrithis, Ramayana, Mahabharata, all the Puranas, Tantras and Mantra Sastras. He has also authored Hari Vamsam, Mahabharata Upakyanamulu, Upanishad Bharati, Srimad Ramayana, Adhyatma Geetha Ratnavali (total of 16 Geetas), and Srimad Bhagavata. His other works include Veda Kathamrutamu, Suta Samhita, Adhyatmika Geethalu (total of 48 Geetas in 4 volumes)and Maha Bharatamu which are in printing phase. He is a practicing Chartered Accountant by profession. Currently he is also serving as President of Hindu College and President of Arsha Dharma Parishat. He is honored by Jagadugu Sri Sri Sri Kalyananda Bharathi Mahaswamy Puraskara for his knowledge in Sri Vidya.
